Colleen Carroll Campbell, a nationally published author, broadcast journalist, and presidential speech writer, addressed the Refuel 2026 Conference, January 23-24.  This year’s theme was “The Wisdom of the Saints.” More than 100 educators came from across the Diocese of Rapid City to get recharged for sharing God’s message. Caroll shared examples of saints who overcame acedia (spiritual fatigue) to live God’s plan for them. The conference also offered opportunities for adoration, reconciliation, Mass, and socialization. The conference was hosted by the Office of Faith Formation, under the direction of Sr. Sara Kowal, SCTJM, at Terra Santa Retreat Center, Rapid City.
